The GIIA Annual Awards’
It was standing room only at the Airmic GIIA 2024 Conference which culminated in a spectacular gala dinner where the 2024 awards were presented and celebrated !

GIIA was also delighted to present the 2023 John Parkinson Memorial Award to
Rutendo Rumano ACCA for attaining her Certificate in International Insurance Management with distinction !
THE GIIA ANNUAL AWARDS
Building on the original Chris Le Conte award, this year GIIA announced the launch of an expanded Annual Awards programme celebrating excellence and achievements in Guernsey’s insurance industry.
The three GIIA awards are as follows:
1 The Chris Le Conte Rising Star Award
This pretigious award is dedicated to the memory of the late Chris Le Conte, a visionary and driving force in the local insurance sector.
The recipient will be an individual who has demonstrated exceptional potential and made significant contributions to the insurance industry. Whether through individual efforts or as part of a collective, their impact should benefit specific clients, their firm, or the broader Guernsey insurance community.
2 The Sustainability Leader Award
Awarded to an industry practitioner who has demonstrated leadership and moral courage in respect of sustainability.
3 The Steve Butterworth Service Award
Awarded to an individual who has made a significant and sustained contribution to the international insurance industry for more than 20 years.
